This delicious retreat space has literally stolen my heart there are just some places within this world that awaken all my senses but still keep me grounded enough to notice and be present in it. Set in the countryside of Portugal, a small town called Oleiros. Think self love, relaxation, mind body reset, meditation, yummy food, animal kingdom, late night fires, salt water pool, hammocks in the trees....
Each of Emily’s retreats takes you on a journey to discover more. The theme is always to collate personal balance inside and out using yoga, time for the self, nature, discussion, writing and relaxing. Each day will begin in the shala with mediation into a yoga practice; the retreat will guide you through a variety of practices and focuses both in mediation and in our physical yoga practice. Except a little of everything. We will follow up with a yummy homemade breakfast looking out over the incredible views of this magical location.Each day will have various offerings such as hiking, relaxing, pool tie, chocolate making workshops, an extra yoga class or guided mediation. Lunch is included and equally nutritious as delicious before more time to read rest and rejuvenate before your final practice in the early evening, again expect a varied practice each session. Emily specifically plans the week to bring about wholeness, comforts and knowledge to your practice.Once you open yourself to the experience there is no going back you’ll want to do this over and over again. Trust me this will keeping you going for months post retreat.
This retreat is led by Emily-Clare Hill, and Paul Wong. Emily has been sharing yoga for just over 11 years. She has explored many styles of practice and ways of teaching, having taught in most locations you could imagine. She now has a large following of dedicated students, hosting her own yoga studio in Stoke Newington London, a very special vibe filled with community and love. Her skill for the practice is ever growing her mind is always open to new and always learning. Her mantra "once your stop learning you stop living" Emily has a skill for seeing the potential in students and helping them to embrace this themselves. She seems to see the things that we don't always see ourselves and helps draw attention to how you can grow your skill and joy for being. Paul unites with Emily to bring this retreat to full harmony. Paul co-owner of the studio in Stoke newington. Specialises in community and honours the practice with a wealth of love and commitment to providing a support environment not just for hebpdy to flourish ut to strength the mind, ading the journey to true mind stability and health. Paul will bring nurture to his classes swell as warmth and fun.

Fly into PORTO or LISBON both truly wonderful cities with many great attractions. You can get flights from London for less than £100 if you book early.
ARRIVAL - The first yoga class will begin on the Sunday, Saturday is your arrival day at the retreat. Whether you are flying into Porto or Lisbon you can choose to arrive on Friday and there are some great offers on hotels or hostels with prices from 18 Euros per night or arrive on the Saturday and wait for the coach from your chosen city.
PORTO (Rede-Expressos, Terminal Rodoviario, coach to Oleiros)
The coach is at 16.30, which arrives with us at 21.30 (Saturday)
LISBON (Sete Rios coach station coach to Oleiros)
The coach is at 18:00, which arrives with us at 21.30 (Saturday)
When the coach arrives in Oleiros you will be met by our retreat hosts Sue and Peter for a short drive to the retreat centre, where there will be a late supper prepared before a good nights sleep, the retreat commences on Sunday morning at 08.00. In your room you will find what you need to be prepared for Sunday.

DEPARTING - The last of the retreat will be the Friday evening, closing with our evening ceremony before a fabulous dinner.
The coach leaves Oleiros on the Saturday morning at 8am; we will drive everyone back to the coach station in the morning.

LISBON (We will drop you at the station Saturday morning)

OTHER INCREDIBLE ASPECTS OF THIS RETREAT
There is a huge connection between the way we eat & how we experience our yoga practice & our lives in general. Many if not all of our physical & mental health problems are caused or exasperated by the way we eat. With this in mind we prepare food that is calming to the mind & balancing to the body, free of common allergens such as those found in dairy products.
CARING FOR MOTHER EARTH
We have to start looking at the environmental impact of the ways in which we source food & the actual food choices we make. At yoga revolution we are careful where we order food stuffs making sure it is fair trade & organic if that option is available & avoiding foods that put a big drain on precious water resources & those that are GMO.
During the training we like to encourage a helping hand and get involved in our environment a little learning and little working we will give back to our humble hosts by spending a couple of hours supporting with some Karma yoga.
MASSAGE AND TREATMENTS
Massage Therapist - Chinese Medicine Practitioner
A Holistic Massage Therapist coming from a long background of Mind Body Energy Spirit Therapeutic Work . I started with martial arts training aged 11 and I have been a member of the Portuguese Association of Shukokai Karate since 2006. At the age of 16 my mother started to train me in massage therapy together with her mentor Dr. Gretl Stritzel in Germany. From then on I trained in and taught a lot of movement and massage therapies.
The basis for my treatment is always Dr. Simeon Pressel’s massage which works with rhythm and form to reorganize the natural flow of energy, blood & lymphatic liquids in the body. With 25 years of work with people I draw from a rich experience of different methods. By combining various elements I create your individual massage.
We don't want to give it all away but ceremony is an important part of the yogis journey connecting with an ability to tune in to all. We will share a few together throughout this week.
