WHAT TO EXPECT​​

Located in the lush setting of the Andalucian hills we will retreat away from busy schedules and loud brains. The plan is to take a step back from all to be held and noursihed in all the ways. I curate these retreats to really offer a full space of letting go, the practices will be kind and supportive with a lot of time to serve what you seek. We will talk & work out each f our seeking for the days we have, but mostly the idea is to reset turn back inwards to self and FEEL GOOD!

THE RETREAT SPACE

The venue sits in the semi-desert landscape amid lush gardens, its architecture echoing ancient Mediterranean civilizations. 

It consists of the main house the ‘Finca’, which won awards in the 80s for its striking modernist design, and a group of converted traditional buildings, the cortijos. The cortijos are just a couple of minutes walk from the main house and next to the yoga studio. 

 

There are shared social and quiet spaces and two eco-pools, one at the house and one with the cortijos.

Join me in this tranquil palm fronded oasis set in 30 acres of citrus and olive groves amidst the dramatic, semi desert countryside with imposing mountains and dazzling sea. This is the perfect spot to support peace, relaxation and practice – and personally one of my favourite retreat places ever! Finca del Alamo is on the edge of the Cabo de Gato National Park and Almeria airport is only 30mins away.

ACCOMODATION

You have the option of choosing to share a twin room or go solo. Every room comes with an ensuite and some with there own terrace and ktichnette area. All rooms are beautifully spacious and well equipped with plugs, adapters, lighting and chargers etc. All towels provided and body wash in all bathrooms.

FOOD & DRINKS

All meals are a delicious vegetarian spread served up buffet style, with lots of choice. The retreat space use lots of fresh local produce. There's regular fruit and biscuits and tea and coffee available. Post morning practice we have a buffet breakfast full of all the delights to nourish and satisfy. be a substantial brunch. Late afternoon leisurely lunch and our evening meal post evening practice around 7:30sih every day.

Alcohol won’t be served with the meals, but there is an honesty system for those who fancy a glass with dinner. 

WHAT WILL I NEED 

Not much, just what ever you like to move in, your day wear, there's pool of course (actually there's 2)  but it's really about letting go of what you need and just letting yourself be, so if you wear the same yoga gear every day then great!

8am Morning Meditation &  Flow Yoga

10am  Breakfast

Free time - chill, pool time, read, walk, nap!

2pm  Lunch

Free time - chill, pool time, read, walk, nap!

5pm Evening practice
(nourishing flow, yin, restore, some journalling and discussion based practice)

7:30pm Dinner
(followed by long chats or early nights)

Some evening's we will have a sound bath & yoga nidra.

PRICES

Twin room with ensuite (sharing) - £900pp 

Single room with ensuite  - £1100pp

I'll then send you  any extra details and a payment link to secure your space.

The rest of the money ca be paid in 1 or 2 installments final payment due 8 weeks before travel.

 

Pricing includes, 3 meals a day, 2/3 yoga practices a day, towels are provided both for in the rooms and for the pool or beach, 5 nights stay, all the tea & coffee you need, use of all the facilities. Most things will be provided if we just ask.

WHATS NOT INCLUDED

- Your flights and travel to the retreat (we can organise together though)

- Extra snacks bought outside of the space (but the food is in abundance) 

- Extra excursions we may offer taxis to town or a beach day

- Alcohol is not include but you are welcome to enjoy with dinner on a honesty system

 

HOW TO GET HERE

The nearest airport to the Finca  is Almeria, about 30 mins away, which is served by a number of airlines from London and elsewhere.

I can arrange a group transfer (cost would be around £20/30 per person return, depending on numbers. Once you have book onto the retreat I will collect your flight details and we can organise.

 

ARRIVAL / LEAVING DAYS

The retreats will be ready for us by 3/4pm on our arrival day and we will plan to leave around or before 11am on our leaving day.

They can be a little flexible on this if we need to be.

CANCELLATION POLICY 

 

Once your deposit is paid this secures your place and is non refundable (KIND OF), in the case that either you OR I manage to refill your space on the retreat I am happy to return this deposit  to you. 

 

2 months before travel 100% fee must be paid to keep your space, once paid this is non refundable unless again the space is refilled. If the fee is not paid I have to then offer your place to anyone waiting to book on.

REVIEWS

I wanted to send a late but very big and warm thank you for hosting the retreat. It was my first and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it, and I hope you did too. Everything was really smooth, I felt very welcomed and can't tell you how much I enjoyed the yoga, reconnecting with nature, others there and myself.

 

In our final session of the week I mentioned how much of a shift I felt, and I'm really thankful to you for hosting that experience .

Retreating last year was unbelievable, i have a new community of friends and got to spend so much quality time restoring myelsf and my body - also the food was divine!

Just wanted to say a great, big thank you for last week. You created such a lovely, warm atmosphere, the classes were just the right balance of fun and depth, and I really appreciated your advice re. my bendiness and brokenness. I took away from the week a lot more than I was expecting to, and feel a new confidence and motivation in my yoga practice.
